More likely, he knows his life at home is gonna be hell if his wife thinks he is responsible for Zimmerman getting off. I'd probably change my story, too.

Then he should be charged with purgury. There are several that should as well, but they weren't under oath when they made their initial statements.

CNN had some interesting commentary today that was saying that there was no way they could see a conviction. That had to just rub the "powers that be" there raw...

That is why he is just now taking the stand during the defense witness portion of the trial.
I am sure the fact that the prosecution did not bring him to the stand during their portion of the trial means they knew he would not say anything to bolster their arguments.
Probably the same reason they don't want the animation video to be shown to the jury.

Zimmerman's African American neighbor just now testified it sounded to her like Zimmerman screaming on the 911 recording. I fear for her life. She could have just said "I don't know", but instead, she said, "That sounded like my neighbor, George.".
