Media bias will be the reason for the riots. Had the media reported fairly from the beginning by showing recent and respectful pictures of both Martin and Zimmerman (saw a NY Post story during the trial that was still using the Martin picture from when he was twelve or so), had they not doctored the phone calls to make it sound like Zimmerman was racial profiling, using racial slurs, and all the misinformation about him disobeying the 911 operator, if they had given recent height and weight measurements then maybe, when Zimmerman gets off, there wouldn't be riots.

To me it really doesn't matter who was on top at the time of the shooting. Maybe Zimmerman wrestled his way up and got on top and fired the shot. That is still self defense. He just got his face pounded and his head as well. Zimmerman was painted as a piece of crap from the get go by the media and the black community. While Martin was made to look like a great human being. That is why they would never show current pictures of him. That is why the judge wouldn't allow evidence that should have been allowed. She was biased as well. Text messages from Martin showing he loved fighting and looked for confrontations should have been allowed. And everyone knows it.

That is more media misinformation. The weight was what Zimmerman weighed like five or six years earlier. A friend of his said he had lost a lot of weight and was about 170 pounds and 5'8 or 9. Police estimated Martin to be 6 foot tall and 160 pounds while the family had him at 6'2" tall. Martin was a football player so the part about outrunning the shorter Zimmerman probably still holds though. And he did run fast enough that Zimmerman lost sight of him for about four minutes before the confrontation took place.
Yeh! There's a lot of people who may have reacted like Martin did, if they thought a prevert was tailing them...But something like this would be unpresentable as a possibility of Martin's having confronted Zimmerman as he returned to his vehicle. Martin really may have thought Zimmerman was a chicken hawk.
Not everyone "knows" it.
Why can't some news media stories twist around his personality, just as it seems to have been done with Zimmerman's??
In some cases various news outlest blatantly take sides and try to stir up emotions, presumably in order to make the story jucier than it started out.
Happens from every point of view, not just liberal or conservative.
Or the fact that eyewitness accounts are frequently sketchy and maybe one of them was wrong.
