Wait, this sucks - now I have to learn how to hunt them - I don't really know how to hunt 'lope.

I wonder if this means that I can hunt any or all of those 8 days?

I don't know how to hunt them either, but maybe what you learn can be passed on to us mortal people in case we get elevated to the lofty position you hold now

I guess that is pretty lucky. "Only" the 3rd time I've ever won (1 ML deer, 1 McAAP deer, 1 lope). But too bad it's not buck lope (doe only). That's early in October (hot) - my guess is find a watering hole and wait. Thanks guys, and sorry y'all didn't win - that sucks - BTDT before several times.

Deer Hunts 334 - Lexington WMA - Gun Either-Sex 11/17/2010 9/17/2010

First year I ever put in. I only put in for Lex this year though, because I'm still learning the ropes of hunting. I didn't want to drive all the way to the panhandle and go hunting for big game without being able to fully appreciate it.

my buddy drew into big mac (hominy) and is mad cause he wanted push again... what a re re

his dad and brother drew with him and they dont want to go??? said they arnt going to by recurves

If they didn't want to buy recurves, why did they apply?
The rules are very explicit. Recurve or Traditional bow only unless its the disabled hunt.
Some times pawn shops have good deals on recurves if they might want to reconsider.

thats what i said!
he told me it was there last selection and they didnt have any other hunts they wanted and figured they wouldnt get it anyway.... go figure

That disgusts me. They took the opportunity away from someone that would have loved to go.

thats what i though... well one of them is going

speeking of taking spots did u guys know there is a group of tree huggers (from what i hear there is a couple hundred of them) that put in for these to do just that so other people can go kill something

That doesn't suprise me if that is true.
At least they had to pony up for a license.
