seeing hundreds in gould a mile from my back porch in the haygrazer i left up. they are tearing up the seed heads.
Checked 2 cut wheat fields and a good weed patch here in eastern Nebraska. Saw about 10 doves total. I'm sure we have some around, but they certainly aren't in the fields I have.............................Maybe they all went south after that last cold front.

Had nothing at a buddies, but yesterday they showed up. Can't wait.
Was up at HW 74 and the Salt Fork River yesterday and only saw a couple here and there on the highlines. Only saw one big group of 10 - 15. I've been seeing more around my house in Yukon, LOL!
Saw the scissor tails bunching up. That's a good sign.
My patio just got buzzed by about 500 of them. I was looking for a shotgun! This weather (storms around) must be getting them antsy.
I have 15 eurasians sitting on the bird feeder bullying the mourning doves. I feel like just sitting on the porch and popping them as they come to the feeder...........yea right.
four of us limited in about and hour and a half. we'll take the wives and kids with us this evening. should be another good hunt. also saw lots of geese and teal. the geese were the biggest damn birds i've seen in a long time!
