South Tulsa: I just did a roundtrip 0500 81st and Sheridan to 81st and Lewis, returning at 0630 in 4WD pickup.

Much of 81st was unplowed, more cars were stuck then were moving, and I got to see a guy run a red light and just miss a guy moving on the green.

I'm staying home now.

I am pretty new to snow. Do you guys drip your faucets when its this cold?

Yes I do.

Yes, drip em. I do when it gets below freezing, since water is relatively cheap compared to gettn busted pipes fixed.

Thanks for the news about dripping. I'll do that now. My pipes are in the slab, mostly, and it would not do to bust a pipe.

We dripped the faucets... and still froze...

Oh well... that's why we built up the booze inventory.

Central heat is struggling to break 50F, but we're too low on wood to run the stove while we still have power.
