I could very well be wrong as I am just a jackwagon with a computer, but it seems like this is the exact mission Delta was created for and if they had plenty of time to plan it, then why wouldn't they use the unit designed specifically for it?...........ohhh crap, I'm starting another conspiracy theory.

Marcus Luttrell was not in SEAL Team Six....I think he was in #10.

Sure, Delta was created for such a mission...decades ago. Since then, many other joint units have evolved and are very capable of conducting such operations. You go with what you have available. I wouldn't be surprised if some Rangers were also used for perimeter security.....

Good timing with the release of that info, coupled with the killing of OBL less than a week later - who's name has been relatively out of the news for months. Coincidence, or......? Damned tinfoil's getting uncomfortably warm......

The mission commander, whose info has been public, is also Seal Team six's commander so it is logical that it was them.

That would make it DEVGRU, no? Which are Seals, and the Navy counterpart to Delta?

What I don't understand is, if the White House watched the Seal's Operation Live with their Helmet Cams and all, why are they changing the details of the Operation, like now there was no Human Shield and n Usama, didn't have a weapon in his hand?
