OH, OK.

Did you observe them?

Were you there for the voir dire? (do you know what that means?)

Obviously, both the prosecuter AND the defense found them acceptable or they never would have been seated.

No need for sour grapes. These were 12 ordinary people. No need to insult them because you disagree with them....

Wait! I forgot....that's par for the course here.

LOL, dont get your panties in a wad.

As for voir dire, ya, it has to do with juror selection.

I stand by my opinon, the man should have been found not guilty. He was forced into the situation, not guilty, would have been a hung jury if I would have been seated on that jury.

Based on all the evidence that you heard while in the jury box?

Based on all the evidence that you heard while in the jury box?

Well lets see, thugs, enter a business, armed, try to rob, pointing firearm at business owner, business owner forced into a situation he did not ask to placed in, draws his own weapon and fires, one thug drops, another flees, owner chases after one who leaves and fires shots at him, to bad he missed, owner re eneters business, now you cannot see the thug off camera, so you dont know if he is trying to ge tup, reaching for a weapon or what he is doing, granted business owner at first does not act afraid of the thug, BUT then again I am sure, or willing to give the benefit of the doubt, that his mind is going a million differant directions, he looks over at the thug, owner produces another weapon, lesson here, carry a spare, and approaches the thug, who is still off camera, you cant see him, what he may or may not be doing, and business owner fires more shots into the thug.
So based off of that video, that I have seen, YES there is in my mind reasonable doubt. Without proof to the contray I would not and will not find a man guilty of murder.

I am sure that what you decribed, was not all of the evidence that was presented.

I would have liked to have seen him acquitted as well, but it is what it is.

It is all the evidence I need to see, that pertains to why he was in court.

But yes sadly it is what is.

I think one of the dumbest things we could do as gun owners is to sign a petition like that. We are already portrayed as blood thirsty cowboys by the left. Statements like shoot reload and empty again is stupid, and does a disservice to responsible gun owners. I agree we cannot see what the perp was doing on the floor, but it did not look like the pharmacist was concerned. He did not rush over to get his back up as quickly as he rushed out to chase the other guy, in my opinion he let his emotions get the best of him. While I have not been in the situation, I still do not think emotion, rage, adrenaline would be excusable for me either. For a group that continually gripes at the left to take responsibility of their actions, it seems pretty funny that we are making excuses for him.

I know what he did was wrong. I also feel like he saved the lives of the two women. If he had no gun, once they killed him, they would have killed the women too. It would have help Speedy's rep and rank in the gang, not to mention no more witnesses. I think saving the two women should have bought him less time.
