Being a lawyer doesn't make you an expert on history. The Constitution isn't a difficult document to understand. Your statement is condenscending at the very least and elitist at it's fullest by the implication that the average person who has the ability to read, use logic and reason is inferior to you. Trust me, you're not as intelligent as you would like for most on this forum to think.

This post drips with irony as lately you seem to be gunning for the position vacated by mausermike AKA MadDawg. Radically different viewpoints, same way of expressing it. Pontificating from a high horse about how "nobody gets it but you" and how unenlightened we all are. You can scarcely make a post lately without patting yourself on the back for being the sole understander of freedom and liberty, followed by lambasting all OSA members by implying they are somehow incapable of reaching the summit of intellectual and philosophical perfection from which you sit with your pocket Constitution and look down upon the great unwashed.

JB was simply being satirical in an effort to point out what you've been doing.
