It is indeed just my opinion - but it's not a hard stretch to compare EVERYBODY using 9x19(18) vs few units in using 45ACP.

M9 is horrid - but 15 little friends is simply better than 8, despite the upside-down safety.

The only reason for wanting 1911 is to look cool and score "major" ....

Explaining a 1911 to those who have not been moved by the spirit of the one is an excercise in futility. The creation of the one is the epitomy of personal defense weapons. Only those who have reached a state of handgun Zen feel this force and heed it's call. Others are lost in the fog of solutions to problems that don't exist. I think the choice is cool. And if the thinks they need the Colt they probably need the Colt. I'd step up to buy one as soon as they are available.

There are rumblings of them going back to .45 due to the ineffectivness of 9mm.

Edit: A Sig 210 is one of my bucket list guns.
