Yeah same here. I almost cried a couple of times listening to the news on the radio. I can't remember the last time I cried. This is so messed up.

yes ... absolutely kids running make harder targets to hit. they should be running away. they were told first to huddle in the corner, then all move into the office. both making kids a larger/easier target. concentrating kids to one spot cannot help but increase odds of more kids getting hit.
in this case they were in the gym with access to outside doors. when police arrived they told kids to run outside.
Me too. How someone can look a 5 year old child in the face and pull the trigger is incomprehensible to me. My prayers to everyone.
When I was a teacher, that was the standard procedure for a mwg drill. I taught high school.

There are a few school districts in TX that do allow faculty to carry with a CCL, permission from the district, and some additional training that applies to their specific campus and how one would react depending on where the perp was located. I'm all for it.
