Conn. School Shooting

On of the early reports was that the shooter was a 20 year old that was fired this morning, he left and came back. This is horrible, just horrible.

My parents are both administrators. I am going to school to be a teacher. It scares me that this could happen to my folks' school or my future school when I'm teaching. I'm sick to my stomach thinking about this piece of **** murdering children.

We allow certain pilots who qualify and are trained to carry firearms in the unlikely event of a cockpit breach. Why are we so unwilling to consider a similar program for qualified teachers?
