So you're saying there's been no paradigm shift in gas consumption and transportation by low-income people?

Take another look.

Plus people think they can live without guns, most dont use them in everyday life. Can they really live without fuel in this era of time?

Low income people should be feeding their families, not buying $800 rifles. Just saying.

Agreed. Food is more important than $800 rifles. The 2A can survive with low income people not owning $800 rifles.

But if you haven't noticed, $800 rifles are not the only items low income people are having trouble getting.

You know yourself .22lr is very scarce. Take .22lr from low income people and see how quick they start caving in to laws that erode the rights to the guns they cant afford to buy let alone leisurely shoot. Let's not lose half the populations 2A support for a little extra green. My $.02

So why not just tax wealthy gun owners to subsidize the ammo expenses of the low income?

I think we will continue to see a shortage of ammo and mags long after the rifles come back down. Normal people didn’t go nuts buying at inflated pricing but will not miss out on anything they see even close to normal pricing sitting on the shelf at Wal-Mart, Academy, Bass Pro etc.

I for one never considered a 100 round box of CCI mini-mags to be something I couldn’t run down to Wal-Mart and pick up for $6.95. If I have to go there for anything I will probably go by that isle and buy one or two anytime I’m there if and when supply comes back.

If you look at Colt ARs on gun broker you can see that although they are still stupid high they are selling for a couple hundred less than two weeks ago. People are also throwing in extra mags and goodies to bring the total sale price up to 2k. I would expect that downward trend to continue. I would go one further that many of the horror stories from the manufacturers will not come to fruition as the gun community as a whole is now broke from this craziness and newly manufactured items may in fact not have a home. I would be a little worried about build quality too rite now as quantity is the driving factor.

One thing to consider might be that if legislation does start to look like it might actually go through we are entering tax refund time. Pricing could get real stupid real quick. What if this “IS” the lull in the action. I doubt it but its food for thought.

Just my 2 cents and it’s not worth that
