Some guys committed a crime, the police arrested them, they've been charged, and will stand trial. What is there to protest? Or should there be some sort of OWS-style outcry of general angst with no real purpose?

I'm certain that if 3 rednecks randomly gunned down a black jogger and were promptly arrested, Sharpton would be saying "The system worked" and "There is nothing to protest".

Yes I do not think I am. I am racially aware as many are. Racism means you think your race is better than all others. Poiting out things that are in society does not make one racist. The problem is people get called it for pointing out facts.

Think of it this way most kid glove policies on criminals are done by liberals who pander for non-white votes. Most tough on crime guys get their votes often from whites. That should not be that way, but why is it that if you are tough on crime you are considered anti-black?

There was a time I would not even speak to someone who is not white, because of a misguided youth. I have various friends of various races including my best friend who is a legal immigrant, minority, and married to a white woman. I think the world of him and cant stand harry reid.

I get what you mean. But the problem is there is no way to state some things like crime rates and how this happens more in teh black community without being labeled as racist. A guy I know had an issue on glock or springfield forums because he said ( very truthfully) that part of why democrats will fall on their sword for Obama is because it is hard to pander to the black vote year in an year out and then let the first black president fail. Obama got obamacare because people were concerned about his legacy. I can just see harry reid in the closed door senate caucus saying "we have to give that boy a win. We can't keep these people's votes if we don't protect him"

It should not matter what color he is. If he is a bafoon he could get called on it. If he does good he should be praised. i had high hopes for him and voted for him in the 2008 democratic primary. As I learned more about him I realized no one with half a brain could support him and claim love of the usa

I don't know about Edmond, but in Tulsa there are just as many if not more predominantly non-black neighborhoods that I'd just as soon she never walk through as there are predominantly black neighborhoods.
