Had all of 1 shooting opportunity this morning and the dog went with me to retrieve it. He ended up nudging it into water deeper than I could wade and he still didn't grab it. I had to l laugh.

Yea I hear you on the pond......that's us too.....we're missing something on the goose layout though. We've got a U-shape set up, with us in the back of the U, only about 4-5 dozen decoys, and none are full body. As long as we keep fooling the ducks we're ok with it..........hundreds of geese, and they won't give us the time of day......they'll get within 100y or so, then skirt the spread, and won't ever fly over, even when we shut the mojo's off. We'll try it again in the morning.

Just now saw this as I don't check these long running posts often. I will try and give you some pointers to try for geese. I will talk to you on the phone soon.

As soon as I hit send on my post above, all hell broke loose. Almost anyways, it was a small fire in comparison to some, but I wasn't able to brag on the other posts.
Porter, you have had some nice piles of waterfowl. Looks like you take some great pictures as well.

Justin, you and Okie are some bird killing fools. Way to go!

Makeithappen, your dog is beautiful and way to go on the ducks!

Dennis, hope you are feeling better, and I bet you have a great recipe for the greenhead!
