Got "sick" at work today, and went home early.

I guess it was a "miracle" but I got to feeling better on the way home.

Loaded up the boat, and went fishing.
Brought home 16 crappie in about 2 hours.

So, what depth might these wily creatures be hanging around at? Just telling the wife that we need to think about heading over to Skiatook in the next week or two.

My dock sits on 26 feet of water, I usually catch mine around the 10-12ft range. I find that the greedy small ones hang out in the 2-3 ft range, these are throwback fish. Biggest crappie I've wrangled here is around 13-14 inches. A lot of 10inch minimums and I throw those back as well.
