Nine pages before the racism claims came out. Must be a new record. I expected it around page two.

In other news...
According to NBC News, as we noted earlier, one of the five Taliban commanders released in the Bergdahl deal, has promised to return to the fight already. Wonder no longer, it didn’t take a week.

There is also something else in the deal that hasn’t come out until now.

Apparently, according to NBC, “the U.S. had provided written assurances that no country would arrest any of the five freed for a year as long as they lived peacefully”, one of his relatives told NBC News by telephone from Afghanistan.

True. The thing is will political correctness get the thread locked or will it run its coarse as long as facts are dealt with? One tactic of the left is to get conversations shut down throwing race. Often a conservative will get baited and then freedom loses.

So everything that happened prior to Obama's election is just water under the bridge?

Not arguing that Obama is at all any better, but what happened to those "red-blooded Americans" when the DHS was formed or the Patriot Act was passed? Of course I blame Bush, his administration laid the foundation for at least half the crap we get on Obama for. To me, in too many ways Obama is Bush 2.0.

We agree 100% on blaming Bush and him starting stuff Obama has done. In reality if Bush was a better president Obama would have never been unleashed on us. One thing that really helped Obama to the throne was how ticked people were at Bush. While the democratic primary was close in some ways like Hillary winning the popular vote and most of the big states democrats usually carry, I think the anti-establishment of Bush hurt Hillary.

Bush gave us the worst president ever and he really did not have the experience to even fairly think he should have the job. After Obama no one can really say someone is not ready.

I think more of us are worried about today than the Bush admin, but good point. America did not seem as divided though.

Question is, are you proposing to push flowing water upstream? Let us know how that works out for you. :)

As for Bush, I too blame him for assisting the media in getting the WORST president since James Buchanan elected. However, everything that's happened on #44's watch BELONGS TO #44!

Besides, no one but you is even discussing Bush, so why are you bringing him up? It's like a discussion on what the worst car currently being manufactured is and you go "But what about the Yugo!". Sigh, like someone farting in an elevator. :rolleyes2

Dunno, ask hairtrigger why he brought up race.

Really, though, half the stuff you guys get up in arms about, again, Bush did the same, and we all know you weren't nearly as upset about it until Obama started doing it too.

Just pointing out the hypocrisy and putting things in a perspective. So far this forum has been a massive pure Obama hating circlejerk, which is cool, but don't be surprised when someone points it out.

Especially when someone starts throwing race around like Hairtrigger. I mean, seriously, wtf does affirmative action have to do with getting someone elected? That's not even subtle racism.

**** this. There are bigger issues here than the ****ing color of ones skin. Bush had his faults, Obama has a lot more of them, and both should be called out on them. We have done this dance before, we will end up in the same place when the song is done. Nowhere.
I realize that asking you guys to try and keep this thread somewhat on track is a pipe dream, so **** it.

Actually I was just reading ..Why they had to ..get this deal done , without all the media knowing first.

It seems they had to make a "rush decision" to get it done , they were concerned there might be an attempt on Bergdahls life, and his health wasnt that good, to start with.

Just seems/feels like something is hinkey, kinda like all the "executive decisions" deals...."its really not necessary for you to know All the facts , This is Best.... 8/" ...I'm not sure theres not more to this whole situation...??

Race being brought up the way it was is actually legit, but misstated somewhat. The painful truth is that the media and congress are afraid to hold him to his oath and the law. That is due to the fact that he is the first black .prez, with all undo respect to Slick Willy.

Painfull? Yes since 99.8% of the country could care less what his skin color is. But that doesn't change the fact that it's true. The media find convenient since they are all democrats, so it's just kind of icing on the cake for them. As for congress they are more worried about politics than doing right for the country. That's pure fact folks...
