I'm ready for them! Geese numbers are pretty amazing though.
My house is almost on the goose X...................just need it to be on the duck X

I don't mind shooting them, just refuse to spend the money on a huge spread of decoys when I can put out 2 dozen goose shells, 2 dozen duck floaters nestled in the milo stalks, 2 mojos and a layout blind and shoot 5 or 6 ducks. 
And do all that in about an hour and half before legal shooting time is over......AND get in on a beautiful sunset
I've only hunted over a huge spread a couple of times..........the time spent with friends was great, the setup and take down for 3 canadians(several years ago)....wow!

Hunting across the road from the x, isn't as productive at hunting on the x............still an incredible sight though! Saw hundreds of birds and shot a goose and 3 mallards lol.
Had a landowner call on the way home and said he had some fresh cut milo fields that the ducks were using heavily, sounds promising...hopefully

Talked to a guy just now, and for Kay county, its rated excellent for duck numbers.
Must be on Kaw, because the only thing I see fly by in the evenings along the Arkansas River is geese.
