If it does become legalized, what is going to change, are people suddenly going to have money to buy legal drugs? I don’t see that happening. If anyone can grow it then I can see how that would stop or slow down people from stealing.

Making things illegal drives up the cost due to risk. See, e.g., the Chicago mobs of the 1920's.

Nope, I actually voted for that. MJ has never been legal here in the state, alcohol has been legal since the end of prohibition, I wasn’t around to vote on that issue.

I suspect that there is a large portion of our population that doesn't drink alcoholic beverages. Thus, those may very well not have any objection to banning alcohol.
