I don’t know if legalizing it or not would or should reduce it, and I’m certainly not saying everyone who does drugs is bad or a thief.

If it does become legalized, what is going to change, are people suddenly going to have money to buy legal drugs? I don’t see that happening. If anyone can grow it then I can see how that would stop or slow down people from stealing.

As I said earlier if it is used only for medical purposes I am all for it.

As for legalizing recreational use I don’t think it should be done, I’ve never done drugs so I can’t say how they make a person act or feel. But, for example, someone will who does smoke it will possibly get behind the wheel of a vehicle and and cause trouble for another.

Making things illegal drives up the cost due to risk. See, e.g., the Chicago mobs of the 1920's.

Nope, I actually voted for that. MJ has never been legal here in the state, alcohol has been legal since the end of prohibition, I wasn’t around to vote on that issue.
