I'm not a fan of replacing Columbus Day with Juneteeth, but I'm perfectly fine with a National Holiday celebrating the end of slavery.

Just wait until they get government jobs and have all of our holidays off . . . they might be devastated then.

my guess is that they don't like the idea and pressure came from the 'other side'. It's not about Ol' Chris, but that the SJWs, as they say, are pushing the issue. That is why they view it as a betrayal of conservative values and sparks further talk of Lankford being a RINO.

That's pretty much it for me. I really thought they'd changed Columbus Day to Indigenous People's day; maybe not officially but a lot of places called it that.
And I support having a Juneteenth holiday, that seems like something we should celebrate.

The point for me is that it wasn't an issue until the mob started breaking glass and looting, now we have to cave to the spoiled children, which I believe are really pawns in a much bigger cause.
