But it did! :faint:Maybe you have amnesia or you just don't want to remember. LOL. Gurl I hope you are getting better, love that sense of humor.

Actually every day that goes by, and every specialist I see, reminds me just how lucky I am ... I'm starting to get used to :ooh2:when I tell folks a branch fell off the neighbor's tree and hit me. Definitely interesting when some of the symptoms kick in too. Frigging nerves act real funny when they get irritated ...:bigeye::scream:

Super man did it horseback, as a former cowboy there was a day bareback and full gallop that I thought I was going to be there.. Some of us are lucky and like a Timex.. Feel better kid..

Depression is a bad thing. You are torn between asking for help with it or sucking it up and just deal with it. I have been there and still have the T shirt to prove it! In 2010 I fell, rather rode a ladder down from 10 ft. to the concrete floor. I broke my whole right side. I had a twisted compound fracture of my right leg, three broken toes, (still haven't figured that one yet), broken back, broken hand and shoulder. I was in extreme pain and could not move. The ambulance guys said grin and bare it because I was in such bad shape I couldn't have pain meds. I was in surgery for the back within 10 minute of entering the ER. The relieved a lot of the pain and I could move again. About three years and multiple surgeries, pain blocks, rehabilitation to get the fluids out of my hand because it was so swollen I couldn't move my fingers, I had a heart attack and drove myself to the ER. One quad bypass later and another 6 months of rehab I could finally get back to light duty at work. Don't even want to get into the work comp fiasco.

Oof. I can't even imagine. My depression is better now that my pain meds are settled. My neurosurgeon had a fit when I told him OU had sent me home with instructions to take Tylenol for the pain and told me to stop trying to wean myself down. That with the damage I have it will be months before we can talk about backing off. I'm glad I have a good medical team -- now that my PCP, my pain mgmt guy and my neurosurgeon are all involved I am sleeping better (of course it could just be the post concussive syndrome) because I know this group of professionals are dedicated to actually helping their patients and are not mills that run you thru.

Finally found my hand picture. It took over a year of therapy to get my hand working again. I liked to starved to death because I'm extremely right handed.

I was pissed tonight after spatchcocking a chicken and putting it on the grill.
It turned out a beautiful bronze skin but was so tough we couldn’t eat it. The skin was like trying to eat inner tube and the meat was worse.
The meat in the thighs and legs was as dark as dove meat and inedible because it was so tough.
I’ve dissected thousands of chickens into their component parts but this bird had to be basically ripped apart.
It’s boiling on the stove as we speak to dice up tomorrow for dog food.
Had a can of green beans and bacon for supper. [emoji2959]
