I don't disagree with you... I think part of the concern is that because of the high percentage in the sample people see that as very troubling and would want to know the "why". This may come across wrong since I don't believe violence should be the answer, but one would hope that any given group military/leo in this case would not have a higher disposition towards it. The rate is what might be cause for alarm.
My guess would be that the LEO's and military have taken an oath. Most still live by that oath, thus they may be more likely to be part of a "movement" to restore rights.
