In the USPSA book it also says "or pointing no further than 3' from the competitor's feet" (or something along those lines), I've never really known if this applies when going prone or not though, and I don't know what the IMGA rules say. Thank goodness we threw those out the window.

My Kytac will hold my gun in place no matter what I do, I've actually tried cartwheels in my backyard with it.

And with that visual image I shall leave you gentlemen to the rants of the Mikes, or Mike squared if you please.

Every major pistol match I have shot has had you started with a holstered pistol with your feet up.

I am going to put an end to this conversation now. Like I have said two or three times, we will not require you to go prone with a loaded, holstered pistol. With the skill sets at these matches, I do not want to take that chance.

I also don't appreciate a response of mine that was clearly answering a question a rant. My point is that if you do not feel comfortable that you or your gear is safe, stick to bullseye or idpa.

I am going to close this thread in order to get back tothe purpose of the match announcement, which is what this section is for. Please refrain from posting in this thread.

Sorry, my comments were jokes, I meant no disrespect to either Cywrus or Pinto. I have shot with you guys enough that I thought my sarcasm would come through.

I didn't mean to fan the flames, nor question the MD. Just trying to be light hearted.

:sorry1:
