Also when you take the barreled action out of the stock, more importantly I guess when you put it in the new stock, center the safety between safe and fire and it will slide in and out better...


About the most important part or you will wonder why it won't come out.

Make sure you have the right allen wrench before christmas and have fun with your kids, You supervise and let him do the work.

When you try to put the new barrel back in, some are very tight. Some won't go in at all. I've had to very lightly sand the shank of the new barrel to make it go in. This was on a new gun, never shot, and a new Tac-Sol barrel.
Put a little oil on the shank of the new barrel and twist it back and forth. Also make sure the extractor is centered in the slot of the new barrel shank. If not it can hang up and cause extraction problems.
