Ackley swore that 7x57AI was his greatest. As far as wildcats go, seems that 7-08AI gets the volume up there, I just don't know how much higher pressures are in shorter case.

Lets see, as fast as I think that would go, plus needing earplugs an muff's, I hope the rifle its chambered for is configured to be easily replaced, since I think one to two shots is going to blow the lands right out the end of that barrel!!!!!
Ultrahypersonic, that just makes all the sence in the world. I'll sit back about 500yds behind them when they pull that trigger, they'll need a witness.
That would be a very ineficient round, hell I can get 3800 out of my .243 with 58gr. V-maxes

222rem was enlarged by 8% to make .223 - it gained 300fps and 30 yards of point blank range by just using 2 (7.5%) more grains of powder.
22-250 on the other hand - gains another 300fps and another 30 yards of point blank range but uses 50% more powder over 223; inefficiency anyone?
As far as ".22 Eargesplitten Loudenboomer" - did they ever figure out how to break 5k? Plutonium projectile in front of "not-gunpowder"?
