CRAP!

my daughter had a ball game tonight at 7:00, an hour away from home. so i set the dvr to record the bedlam game, and set it to record 3 hours. got home about 10, had been careful to not listen to the radio or open any texts so i could watch the game in peace. only some jackwagon kept calling the game from the stands during the kids game so i knew it was 21-10 before i left. the girls won their game and we came home to watch bedlam. just after OU kicked the feild goal in the 4th and made it 27-24, with 13 minutes left to play, the frickin dvr shuts off!!! WTF! i scramble over to the highlights channel, and HO-LEE CRAP!!! i missed the best part of the game! just now found out who won. the last few minutes must've been exciting! thats the second time this season that i have done that, guess i need to learn how to work a dang dvr.

congrats to the sooners, and since i'm not one to welch on a bet, here you go

That's why every time I set my DVR to record games, I make sure that it records 3 other shows after it because of that reason. I record from 7Pm to 10 pm, 10 to 11 and 11 to 1am, just an example. The last quarter was the best, sorry to rub it in.

Either set it to record the next show, or set it to record at least another hour. I have been burned before missing the long games and the OT games.
You did miss one helluva game cause it basically went down to the last minute or so

Your big mistake was thinking they could play a one hour game in less than five hours.

Boy! Ain't that the truth ... I usually start getting restless and looking for other things to do in the back half of the 4th. NOT THIS TIME!!

Congrats to both teams for a game WELL played!!
