Wow, a difficult arrest. The suspect in the house must have had loaded magazines stacked on the kitchen table. Tried “suppressive fire” on the deputies. What could the deputies have done differently to avoid getting hit? Deploy ballistic shields? I was hoping not to see an ND out of that one wounded deputies Glock, waving around his feet repeatedly.

I condone this act of violence, the guy was a P.O.S. But if it has to happen, I'm glad it at least reminds the government that they should fear their citizens.

Cool... When your neighbor unloads 100 to 300 rounds in the direction of your home, wife, kids, etc...we'll know you condone it because it's teaching government a lesson. If someone you love has to take one for the team, so be it.

Take-aways that come to mind so far; the cops could not tell where the bad guy was shooting from, how long it took the cops to get help, and how did they both get hit in the right knee? Maybe exposing that leg when shooting from behind the cruiser?

If I ever need to shoot from my house, I can move from window to garage, etc. to make it hard to zero me.

If it took that long for the cops to get help, how long would it take for a regular citizen to get help....?

People on OSA are like a box of chocolates... Sometimes they're nuckin' futs and sometimes they just forget a really important word.
I forget what it's called but it is not uncommon. Your brain "sees" what is supposed to be there while you are typing but your fingers miss the "cue". It can happen in reverse also -- when you are proofreading you see what should be there as opposed to is actually on the page.*

*More useless trivia only a complete nerd would know.
