I don't* condone this act of violence, the guy was a P.O.S. But if it has to happen, I'm glad it at least reminds the government that they should fear their
That is a good perspective.

Define regular citizen?Take-aways that come to mind so far; the cops could not tell where the bad guy was shooting from, how long it took the cops to get help, and how did they both get hit in the right knee? Maybe exposing that leg when shooting from behind the cruiser?
If I ever need to shoot from my house, I can move from window to garage, etc. to make it hard to zero me.
If it took that long for the cops to get help, how long would it take for a regular citizen to get help....?
One of the pitfalls of smokeless powder.Take-aways that come to mind so far; the cops could not tell where the bad guy was shooting from, ...
I'm thinking regular joes like me. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm thinking the cops would put other calls on hold to go rescue their own; can't say I blame them.Define regular citizen?
I'm the world's worst about this. I proof and proof and it still happens. Luckily I have spell AND grammar check for my work!I forget what it's called but it is not uncommon. Your brain "sees" what is supposed to be there while you are typing but your fingers miss the "cue". It can happen in reverse also -- when you are proofreading you see what should be there as opposed to is actually on the page.*
*More useless trivia only a complete nerd would know.
i agree with you. Love the good LEOs but it would take them 40 minutes to get to my place most of the time, thats a long time…I'm thinking regular joes like me. Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm thinking the cops would put other calls on hold to go rescue their own; can't say I blame them.
I'm sure setting priorities from all the goofy 911 calls they must get is not easy.
Exactly. If they want the military nomenclature in their description, they need to enlist. At least it was said Citizens. I hate it when L.E. types say Civilians instead of Citizens. They are not in the Military, they are Cops, which makes them Civilians too, and hopefully Citizens as well, although Seattle is allowing "undocumented" workers now to fill their ranks, which are certainly not citizens!
Yes beware that on here there are plenty of guys just waiting to pounce on anyone who says the wrong thing. It’s happened to me several times.Yes, I made a typo. You can unclutch your pearls
Yep. I was a hot commodity back in the days before the www and all it's high-faluting programs. Apparently I have one of those demented brains that actually SEES what's on the paper. It's definitely a double-edged sword.I'm the world's worst about this. I proof and proof and it still happens. Luckily I have spell AND grammar check for my work!
