little update, did a round butt on it. i cut the lanyard loop off the factory msh, and filed it down flat. she wants an arched msh, so this is what i thought the best thing i could do for it was.
I've always hated arched mainspring housings (and prefer checkered to grooved), but man - that looks pretty nice.

been a long time for an update on this. its done now, and shoots great. going to be bead blasted this week to a dull matte grey. Chuck rogers cut the novak sights and lowered and flared the ejection port. It now wears a harrison rear sight along with a trijicon night sight on the front. The girlfriend has put roughly 500 or so rounds through it and havnt had any hiccups.
