I have a 2005 Chevy Impala for sale. To the best of my knowledge, my mom bought this new or as a GM program car in 2005. She owned it until she passed away in 2021. My son owned it for a few years as a work car, and then I acquired it from him to keep around as a spare in case anyone else in the family needed it. We no longer need it so I’m putting it up here first and then Craigslist in a week or so.

It has a little more than 97,000 original miles. Has been garage kept for all but the last two years. For a 20 year old car, it’s pretty clean. There is a stone chip in the windshield. There is a dent in the passenger front fender, and the arm rest trim on the driver’s side interior is missing. The only really big thing that I have found on this is that the instrument cluster is toast. That and it probably needs a new set of tires.

Looking for $2800, cash only. Car is located in the Bridgecreek area.
More pics available upon request.

The car runs great. The speedometer, tach, gas & temp gauges are all non-functional.
It has a new battery as of October 2023 and according to my son, who drove it the last few years, he had the transmission serviced and new brake pads.

Good question. The dash was working just fine about 5 months ago and then one by one the gauges stopped working. I have been taking it for a drive around my neighborhood every couple of weeks to make sure the battery is charged, but I haven't paid attention to the odometer since I have been using a Garmin GPS to monitor my speed. I'll take it for a spin and report back this evening. Thanks for the question.

After a short road test, I can confirm that the odometer and the temp gauge are working properly. Attached are a few more pics.
