My first car was a 67 Cougar with a 390 cu V8. Not an XR7, but a decent car. Someone turned left in front of me and that was the end of the Cougar.
Another car I miss was an 89 Pontiac Grand Am with the 150 HP Quad Four engine and 5 speed Getrag transmission. Fun to drive and got over 30 MPG on the highway. The GM paint was really the only bad thing about it. A good part of the paint just peeled off of the primer layer, it would come off in sheets.
I literally just sold this one this morning, already regretting it

I agree! There is WAY too much angst in that other thread. Somebody is gonna die in their late 30s, early 40s of a stress induced heart attack. I can understand being peeved but ******* ... Lol
