I really think we just saw the last Presidential election of the United States of America. We will not survive another 4 years of this level of corruption and printing money out of thin air.

Yes. That worries me. There's a problem in the Republican party, and I've got no idea how you solve it.
I'm a Democrat, but I think we need a loyal opposition, our whole system depends upon it.
Look at Romney. Shape shifter. How do you come up with a guy like that?

So what you're saying is that the demographics of voters have changed and the idiots at the RNC are too damn stupid to recognize this fact so they're just going to keep throwing gray haired wealthy old white men at us?

Exactly. The GOP is far too stupid to recognize their loss for what it is, a repudiation of their platform. What they fail to realize is that their platform has strayed from the founding principles of the party. It's strayed so far, they now resemble the Whigs as their party crumbled around them in the 1850's. The really sad part is, if the Republican party returned to their roots, they'd win by a wide margin. Fiscal conservatism, civil rights and good stewardship of our natural resources was a pretty good combination. Why they thought it was a good idea to get in bed with these do-gooders and robber barons is beyond me. :anyone:

The only hope for survival is for Republicans to lead the way in ignoring lobbyists and stopping corporate welfare. To be honest, there are very few republicans that I would vote for and fewer democrats.

So now that we know Obama is going to get a second term, who in the world do we get to run in 2016?

I wasn't going to go there again, because that was my bold predicition 4 years ago, now 4 more and we find out if we're right.
