Now don't make it so glamorous that nobody looks at the deer! Or that cool crossbow.
I’ve seen some pictures on FB and other message boards that were pretty obvious the kid didn’t have the maturity or coordination to make the shot. Here is my son's picture from last year's youth season. His first buck:

If I EVER kill a buck the size you're killing, I won't give a rats ass what I look like in the picture!!Y’all go ahead and make fun, but when you post half @ssed pictures, don’t be surprised when it comes back to you in spades.
You should. If I EVER kill a buck the size you're killing, I won't give a rats ass what I look like in the picture!!
I admit I've cleaned myself up and the deer prior to taking pictures. I don't really want blood all over, tongue out, mismatched camo (I'm kidding) in the pics.
Would like to see more pics of this buck, kind of unusual. The horns and hair if he had come from the western part of the state I would think cross bred. Good kill, congrats.I doubled on Saturday.
Shot a doe in the morning went to same stand and shot a buck that evening out of the same stand. He was just a 3.5 year old but he has some character with his palmated rack and some mass so couldn’t pass him.
44 yards with the doe and 36 yards on the buck. Shot with my new cp400.View attachment 417937
