I saw one with one 4" antler today at the processor.I heard from the lease south of me that one of the guys for the third year in a row shot the first dink buck that walked out this morning, loaded it in his truck, and went home. They’re not sure if he doesn’t have the patience to wait or just doesn’t like the others on the lease.
I don’t really know the guy, so I can’t say what his thought process might be.I saw one with one 4" antler today at the processor.
He might be a meat hunter, some people don't care about antlers. I get it, they don't really taste that great.
Edit - 4" may be a gift, likely two or three.
