If there was a “get anything hunting related today?” thread, this would be there. But there isnt, so it’s here. I put bunk beds in the hunting cabin for the kids. They’re excited to come up to see them, so that’s a win in my book. Someone said this to me several years back right before rifle season and it stuck with me- Get your piss hot, boys. We gave her a ration of crap for sure. It was the only weekend available at the venue she wanted. We told her there was a reason it was available!

Decided I'd sit long enough so I got down to walk back to the truck. Got about 3/4 of the way back, looked towards the road and running down the tree row that parallels the road was the buck I was looking for. Just has a small spike on the right, crazy drop on the left. Let him get about 100y out and the .350RM dumped him. He looked the same last year, I let him walk hoping the right side would do something but I guess not. First pic is last year's pic.
