I have a silencerco spectre 2 and a switchback, 2x dead air mask, 2 rugged oculus. My favorite Is probably the spectre but they don't make it anymore. They're all good though and honestly can't tell much difference between them sound wise. I'd like to try a q erector next I think

Not that it is in the running because it has not been mentioned. But I have an A.B. little bird and I am not impressed. I have other centerfire rated AB cans that I love.

But the design they used on the little bird was to internally thread the ID of the housing so you could screw the baffles in and out for disassembly and adjustment. But is about the diameter of a small cigar and about 7.5” long. So it looks retarded on a pistol but sound okay. But on a 18” 22 now the barrel is 25” long and almost zero sound mitigation to the ear unless you are shooting subs.

If you had to start over which would be your first purchase?
SilencerCo Sparrow-TI but I think that was a special run so they may no longer be available.

They are all pretty close to each other in performance but I would probably still go with a Sparrow-22 since my CF suppressors are all SilencerCo and I would be dealing with only one manufacturer.

A friend just got into suppressors and my recommendation to him was a Sparrow-22 (https://silencerco.com/silencers/sparrow-22/) and a SilencerCo Hybrid 46M (https://silencerco.com/silencers/hybrid-46m/) which covers everything from 9mm to 460 Weatherby Magnum.

Two suppressors that cover everything I'd would probably ever shoot.

I have so many because I like to have one for each host gun.

I have been thinking about buying a .22lr silencer for a bit and was curious if anyone had any preferences. I will primarily be using it on my Bergara BMR and will be using it for mainly plinking/maybe some small game. My budget will be around $600 for everything(Suppressor + stamp + tax and fees).

I have been looking at a SilencerCo Sparrow which has been on an off back order for the past couple of years. I like that it is able to shoot a wide variety of ammo (22lr, 17HMR, 22WMR, and 5.7x28). I also own a few other SilencerCo suppressors(ASR mounts) and have had good luck with their customer service. I’m not sold on SilencerCo for this one because I will use it as a direct thread. Just wanted to hear everyone’s thoughts/issues etc.

The sparrow is what I have. It's really quiet.
I recently bought CCI suppressor .22 ammo. Designed to be less dirty when using a suppressor and sub sonic.

I have the Sparrow Ti also, really quiet with the Buckmark and CCI standards. Tried it on a rifle and it seemed louder but can't remember which ammo I had at the time, need to do another run. Really like the ease of cleaning.

Haven't heard anything on the Banish 22. All titanium, completely self serviceable, very light and small. Only 5"in length,1"diameter and weighs just 4.1 oz. I bought specifically for pistol use. Standard height sights work and is very quiet. I used Silencer Central out of SD. They handled all the paperwork, finger printing, Form 4, tax stamp and set up my trust. Had to wait on ATF almost a year but once approved shipped to my house. Highly recommend their whole process.
