Well we ran a few rounds though the chrono today, and to my surprise, the reloads using ACP data were between 850-900 fps. Certainly not out of line for that round.
The Speer gold dot factory ammo was a little warm as expected at 1,000-1,100 fps.

You got it backwards. The reloads were faster than the factory loads. I need to back off the powder about .5-1 grains.

USPSA matches, steel challenge and the bowling pin shoot in Duncan.
The Bowling pin shoot is the one that @Mad Professor is scared of lol.
Although he stomped me last month. I'll get him back though.

He beat me last month too, but I mangaged to redeem myself. I’ve been practicing. IIRC, I took seventh out of 42 in this months Steel Challenge. Matt took fourth and Mitch Gibson took first.

Not sure what it has to do with firearms, but that's a lotta bras... :D

Well, it helps to have Ammo to shoot and brass to reload to keep the cycle going.

But I think the question was more directed at where did I get that much 45 GAP brass? I found a Florida Trooper who sold me some back when the model 37 and 38 was FHP issue.
