sounds like loaded to hot, slow them down, might have better knock down.
That’s what I wondered. I shot a doe at 80yds with one, she hit the dirt, walked out to her and to my surprise, she jumped up and took off running. Shot her again to put her down. When skinning her, there was only one entrance and exit and a huge bruised spot at one of her ribs.

The sst and ballistic tip look nearly identical, they do not perform the same though. Those who've used both the interbond and accubond told me they gave the same performance(both were elk hunters). I've only used the accubond, haven't tried the interbonds.

I’ve killed a ton of deer with 150 grain 270 cal Interbond blems from Midway, and they’re the only 270 bullet I’ve used in the 39 years I’ve been hunting with 270 Win that will consistently drop a deer in it’s tracks with a heart/lung/shoulder shot.

As much as I am not a fan of 6.5 creedmoor because it doesn't anything the 6.5x55 or 260 didn't do . Having said that bullet choice isn't as important as bullet placement when it comes to taking meat. I could kill as many deer with 6.5 creedmoor as I have with 30-06 or 280 Remington if I so chose. In fact I used a 120 grain Sierra in the 280 and 7x57 to kill every white tail I came across for several years . I don't think the 129 grain bullet the OP is all that inadequate as long as you put it in the right place.
