7in 1911 lives!!!

I have posted in a previously in the gunsmithing forum about my dream build. Well finally my smith, Paul from Cutting Edge, let me know it’s finished. I present a new 7in 1911! The part I was waiting for was the slide which took over 6 years to come to market, is from Fusion Firearms in FL. I cannot wait to shoot it and report back, but enjoy the attached.

.45 ACP, mainly because I already had a 1911 in 45, had all the mags and ammo. Thought about 10 mm (yes they do make a 10mm barrel and slide) but I don’t want to start another caliber right now.

Fair enough. I have always liked the unique guns, Kel-Tec RFB, M1 Garand, PS-90, FG-42, etc. Not counting custom fabricstors/smiths no one else makes a commercial 7 in slide other than AMT.
