Have you shot it yet? Not trying to be nosy, but how much do you think something in 9mm in a six or better yet 7 inch barrel would run me on average? If it’s crazy money you can just say crazy money. Crazy money to me being 6k plus.

Well I can say that entire build cost as much as a new nighthawk 1911. So it can be done. Fusion makes the slide in 45 ACP and 10mm, they may do a 9mm in the future. I would shoot them a message and ask. A smith may be able to help get you answers as well. Paul from cutting edge has done a fair amount of 1911 work.
I was thinking of getting a chest holster. I have an IWB for my original 5in I might modify to wear OWB for just range useYeah, at least improvise.

I mean…I did stumble upon a 16in 1911 barrel in 45 ACP…that’s just outrageous though (1911 .45 ACP Barrel 16" )
