So im putting the lift on hold for now and have decided to drop a slightly modified 355 into the burban.
Come next week ill be the proud owner of a 355 with a bolt main block, .030 over, 60cc head with 2.02 exhaust valves, 2.02 intake valves, 1.60 exhaust valve, 170cc intake ports, dual valuve springs, screw in rocker studs, 1.6 roller rockers, hardened pushrods, open too chrome k&n air intake, Cam specs: duration 235 249... 546 565 lift.. 108lsa, eldelbrock dual plane intake, 750 carb, and forged rods / flat top pistons with valve relief. Only miles on the engine are the idle, test / tune, and dyno.
Dyno sheet says it made 453hp to the crank wonder what it will make with a small turbo???
I will also be upgrading from my stock 7004r to a new 7004r with corrvette servos, HD sunshade, jw performance bell, 3200 stall, redline clutch w/ stage two clutch kit, and a few other odds and ins.
I'm not trying to be a negative nancy here but 453hp out of a .030 over 350 is really pushing it. what heads are on it? Do you know the builder? If it does make that much power it's not going to behave that well driving around town. I have almost the same setup. .030 over 4 bolt main, dart pro 1 aluminum heads 2.02/1.60 with roller rockers, 650 double pump. Mine was built by Folks in Norman. It made 373 to the flywheel on Folks' dyno. Like I said, I'm not hating. Its awesome if it makes that kind of power.
