We have a gun show about every weekend, also Bass Pro and Cab. carries SD loads for a 38 Super
Gold Dots? SXT's? Any bonded core, controlled expansion HP's?

Also, I don't chase my brass at matches and when I run low, I can pick up a bucketful after the match with 9mm. Not so much with Super.

If I wasn't heavily invested in 9mm, and had a bunch of 9mm Luger handguns, I would consider .38 super, or 9x23. But for the same reason I don't want a .380, I don't want the 9mm "Magnums": too difficult to sort brass / loaded rounds. If I wanted to do a super velocity 9mm caliber, I'd do a 9x25 or .357 Sig just because the round is easily distinguished.

Whatever I consider, I end up thinking the Springfield EMP 9mm is a great compromise. Other than some non-standard parts, are there any disadvantages to the EMP platform?
