Reason one of about a million as to why I hate coyotes. I get it, nature, they have to eat too, etc. Just does not make it any better to see on film:

Hunting but not trapping. This is two years in a row I caught a fawn casualty.

My earliest fawn this year was mid-May. That is way earlier than I remember in the past.

I saw a fawn that was run over in the road a few days ago. It was fairly good sized maybe an early one.

I've seen 4 fawns from the combine in the last 3 days, all were very tiny

Haven’t seen any fawns but I saw about a half dozen quail chicks today. That was encouraging!

The most I’ve had in a picture from that field is about 70. They looked like fleas. I think there were 13 that I could see when I killed my buck last year.

Your buck population will prosper if you remove a lot of those does. I'm sure the buck to doe ratio is skewed.
