Speaking of birds stealing, wife went into a grocery store in Santa Fe NM while I sat in the truck browsing OSA. A lady with a basket full of food came out to the vehicle next to me.
Appealing to the eye, so watched her open the hatch and start to unload. A crow, among a couple sitting on the roof took flight and swooped down on the loaf of bread in her cart, flying away with it. All the other crows followed it to share in the feast or try to steal it. They went out of sight.
