Two years in a row a doe with twins were killed crossing highway by my house. The fawns this year weren’t any bigger than normal house cat. Could have put both in a Walmart bag and not been crowded. This was probably three weeks ago now.
Our home security cams have cams looking at cams to prevent that.Can you put a second camera in maybe more concealed where they won’t see it so you can get a pic of the ******* doing it?

September spotlight surveys to see how many deer are on the property, then an ODW wildlife biologist will determine how many need be removed from the area.
It's not an overnight project. It takes years to bring the buck to doe ratio down. I've been on one for over 20 years. After gun season, does can be taken by any means until the quota has been met, and it must be met.
We never have an issue with giving the excess animals away.
The ODW will first recommend opening up the property for doe hunters, but if your isolated like it appears you are, they might come around and let the program start.
