The collection thus far. These date from 1934 for the Savage 3b and from 1945 to 1951 for the rest.

The bolt actions. Savage models 3,4 and 5. (Aka Stevens/Springfield 83,84 and 86)

The Savage 6A and Stevens/Springfield 87A variants.

The ones in "as found" condition.

The ones I've refinished in some way.

I'm looking for an 87A with a coin embedded in the stock. It was my first rifle and I would love to have it back. The last that I saw of it was in Seminole, OK in the early 80's. If you ever come across a likely candidate, please let me know.

I have a Savage 3B that is a phenomenal shooter,,,
Even with my 67 year old eyes it shoots a dime sized group at 50 yards.

I originally purchased it from the evil pawn shop as a project gun,,,
I was going to refinish the stock and clean up the metal a bit.

It was to be a graduation present for a high-school kid,,,
But the idiot dropped out of school halfway through his senior year.

I never really got started on the refurbishing,,,
I'll probably just sell it for what I have in it.
