Ya know. This stuff is just really funny. 
i think its funny how people argue about oils. this brand is better than this brand. bottom line is Some oil is better than no oil.
i never seen an engine quit running with a certain type of oil, but i have seen MANY engines quit running with no oil.
you could put piss in there and it will build hydraulic pressure. the only problem with piss is that its to thin and would boil to quick and maybe rust your engine out.
i usually buy the good filters and the cheapest oil. there is a big difference in the cheap filters and the good ones.
most of your cheap filters dont have drain back valves.
if you have an engine with variable valve timing and you dont use the right filters you will ruin the timing components.
not to mention your engine bearings will wear faster if it takes you longer to build pressure.
