All these wild fires. Whats the cause?

Could be anything. But, I’m taking a guess At cigarette butts.
Dragging trailer chains can do some damage in these dry conditions

Late last week on I-40 West bound just East of Okemah there were 6-8 fires on the side of the road all spread out for about a mile distance. Police, drivers, FD all putting them out at the various spots along the Hwy. Had to have been chains or some crapbag doing it on purpose.

Exacerbated by poor woodland management by the “environmentalism by abandonment” crowd.
California should be COVERED in swales and synthetic beaver dams, and the forests should be cleared routinely instead of letting brush build up until it burns the whole state down.

Okie4570 is right for most of the time these high winds get those power lines whipping and when they touch fire and sparks land in the dry grass and away she goes
