I had to draw on an upset teenage girl one time who went and got mom's gun from the nightstand after I told her that she "was a CHILD and WOULD do as her mother had instructed her (do homework or something or other)." She didn't like the answer mom and I had for her. She ended up dropping it and promptly regretting her course of action. I think about would I or would I not have been prepared to use deadly force on her from time to time. My father, a Viet Nam veteran, advised me growing up that "A kid with a grenade can kill you just as dead as a grown man can," among other things. He doesn't talk about it much, but I listen when he does and try to learn from his experiences. Glad it turned out for the best in this scenario.

It all starts with a mom and a dad at home most kids are raised with sometimes their mom if they are lucky but most days now the granparents are now raising them I never thought that I would see the day just glad you were there to stop a bad thing from happening GOD bless

Glad you kept your cool. Unbelievable kids going after each other with knives nowadays. I agree that it starts with the parents. I've got an infant who I am determined to make a productive member of society, whatever it takes. We need to turn this whole world around and my generation who seems to be the first of the "divorce" generation needs to be the one to do it.
