I wonder if it'll really be as bad as the fall show in 2008, the weekend after Obama's election. That was unbelievable - seeing the crowds four deep around the ammo vendors' tables, the jacked-up prices on the ammo, and the panicked throng's willingness to shell out the bucks.

As for me, I have no plans to buy anything, unless I come across a Ruger Mk II Government Target pistol. As uncommon as those are, I'm pretty sure I'll come home with as much cash as I take to the show.

I'll be there, though I'm sure any deals on mag-fed rifles will be nil. SGAmmo just put up over a quarter million rounds of Golden Tiger 7.62x39 on their site, so I think they're expecting a run. I'll just be picking around for parts, mags, and maybe some youth shotguns. Surely those won't be involved in the "OMG, they'll all be banned" panic?

I'm not going. I got beat up, bruised, pushed and stepped on the last time. My old body can't handle that much abuse anymore. I'll stick with Superdave and Badshot.
