I am needing to remove a successor trustee from my NFA Trust and replace them with another. After speaking with the law firm that originally set up the trust, they are no longer doing anything with NFA Trust. He did advise me I simply needed to amend the trust with the change and have it notarized. Stated a lawyer was not necessary to do this. However, after searching online for for an example, I haven't been able to locate one. Has anyone done something similar and would be willing to share an example. Thanks in advance.

I used a lawyer (not an NFA lawyer), basically because I did not know how to do it right. I had to remove my ex as successor trustee and add the current wife. That includes changing the beneficiaries in the same way. Only cost a couple hundred but it was worth it. Like your lawyer said, all you have to do is create an amendment stating the changes to be made (paragraph numbers, etc.) and notarize it. Place it as the first page.

I can't redact or edit the PDF so it might be a chore to provide an example. If you are the only one with a copy of the trust I can't see that it makes a whole pile of beans.
